Cookie Butter Ice Cream Sandwich
Its National Ice Cream Sandwich Day!
If you haven't gone to Trader Joe's yet and gotten the Cookie Butter Ice Cream then you are missing out and need to get your butt there right now. If you have had it then you know how amazing it is. Our marketing director even once told us how she can't keep it in the house because she is too tempted to eat the whole container instead of having dinner.
So to celebrate not only National Ice Cream Sandwich Day, but also how incredible Cookie Butter Ice Cream is, here is an awesome recipe.
Ingredients:
- Fresh baked or store/bakery bought chocolate chip cookies (feel free to try other types of cookies! whichever is your favorite)
- Tub of Trader Joe's Cookie Butter ice cream
- OPTIONAL: mini chocolate chips for the outside of the ice cream
Steps:
- Bake your cookies and cool them down in the fridge or use the store/bakery cookies
- Put one scoop of ice cream on an upside down cookie and softly press to cover the whole cookie
- Place second cookie on top and if you want....put chocolate chips in a bowl and put the ends/edge of the ice cream in the bowl to get chocolate chips on it!
Now you have a super unhealthy but entirely worth it ice cream sandwich, whalla!
