Grilled Sweet Chili Chicken

Grilling the same old steak and burgers every week? We have you covered with this delicious sweet chili chicken. Check this recipe out before it gets too chilly to grill out or wait until tailgate season and share with friends. Either way, you'll want to make it time and time again.

 

Be sure to read this a few hours advance of dinner time so that you can marinate it in the fridge to get the full flavor!

Grilled Sweet Chili Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of chicken breast tenders
  • 1/2 cup of Sweet Chili Sauce
  • 1/4 cup of Hoisin Sauce
  • 1/4 cup of Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tbsp of red chili flakes
  • 5 fresh thai basil leaves

Directions:

  • Add the defrosted chicken to a gallon size bag
  • In a medium sized bowl, add the rest of the ingredients and whisk until fully blended
  • add 3/4 of the sauce to the gallon size bag
  • save the rest of the sauce to use later 
  • shake the bag the mix with chicken and place in the fridge for a minimum of 45 minutes (the longer the better)
  • after marinating, grill the chicken
  • while grilling, take a basting brush (our favorite is the BrushTech bendable basting brush so that you don't burn your hand with the grill heat*) and add the rest of the sauce on each tender then flip and brush sauce again
  • enjoy with rice or veggies (and a glass of wine 😉)
