Apples, Sweet and Savory

 

Like going back to school, it's one of our favorite fall rituals, making an apple galette (or two...). Juicy apples in a delicate golden crust with a large scoop of our best vanilla ice cream is hard to beat. IN THIS ISSUE, we celebrate the apple with two savory recipes, and of course our favorite apple galette ending.
